Every once in a while there’s a movie out there that makes a lasting impression on my life, willing me to be better. What is it that makes a person rise above the life obstacles they have been dealt? I want to meet this boy who grew up in poverty in a single-parent home; the boy who was more of a parent to his mother, than she to him. What would it be like to have a connection to something larger than yourself and to possess the discipline to truly make it a part of your soul? Or is it already in your soul and the discipline to master it is innate? Above all, this boy I admire, somehow found the good in everything and his kindness consumed those who were privileged enough to be apart of his life.Jay Moriarity, your story pushes me to try just a little bit more in my story.
